It is with great sadness we have to announce that after a short illness, our co-founder and senior director, Adrian Milward passed away peacefully on the 25th of July 2011.

Work played a huge part in Adrian’s life and through it he made many valued friendships and worked with, and for, people that he liked and enjoyed spending time with. He was instrumental in developing the company and instilling the standards and work ethics to which we strive and we will continue to work in his memory to progress the business further.

We would like to advise that his funeral will be held on Friday 5th August 2011 commencing 11:30 hrs at Hazelwood Church followed by a celebration of his life at Duffield Squash Club.

It has been decided that there will be family flowers only with donations in lieu to Leukaemia Research, a charity close to Adrian’s heart for many years, collected via G Wathall & Son of Derby.

Stephen and his family, along with all at Milward Construction would like to thank you for the kind words of condolence that we have received. A decision has been made to close the Company as a mark of respect on Friday 5th August 2011.
